CANARY DAY

To commemorate Canary's day we've donde along this week different activities. The third grade has learnt Canarian vocabulary with the help of Canarian-English picture dictionary.  The oldest, 4th, 5th and 6th graders have read and watched the legend of Gara and Jonay.

Bueno chicos y chicas, ya ha acabado el trimestre y en unos días se desvela el misterio de las notas. Ya queda nada para las merecidas vacaciones de Semana Santa, así que he subido al blog muchas actividades para que puedan divertirse repasando inglés en las vacaciones.

Family project (evaluation criteria)

El próximo 15 de mayo es el Día Internacional de la Familia y tal y como les había comentado en clase, vamos a realizar un trabajo sobre las familias y para rendirles homenaje y poner en práctica todo lo que hemos aprendido en estas dos últimas unidades: comparatives adjectives and family vocabulary. 

En clase hemos visto una presentación con las instrucciones del trabajo. Aquí les dejo los criterios de evaluación. Léanlos atentamente. 

Evaluation criteria for the project /10 points).

Presentation = 1-2 points (2 points for craft works)

Neatness = 1 point

Use recycled materials = 1point 

Use of ICT = 1 point

Use pictures = 1 point

Write names= 1 point

Write parental link (brother, aunt, sister...) = 1 point

Additional Info (using comparatives: smaller, older, more beautiful than...) = 2 points
